coming soon β Exploring a new power dialer experience for sales teams to automate outbound calling and streamline high-volume outreach. Working closely with product, engineering, and users to refine workflows as we move toward GA.
Romina Ideses
Senior Product Designer @ Dialpad
DESIGNER & BUILDER
Hi! I'm a Senior Product Designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently designing and building at Dialpad. I collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to craft thoughtful, scalable product experiences. In the past, I've worked on digital products at companies like PedidosYa, Despegar, and others.
Selected Work
Rebuilding the calling experiencecoming soon β Led the redesign of Dialpad's iOS calling experience, rebuilding the interface to improve performance, reduce bugs, and align mobile with native iOS patterns and the desktop experience.
β Started the MBT (Master in Business & Technology) at Universidad de San AndrΓ©s to deepen my understanding of technology, strategy, and product thinking beyond design.
β Designed Catch Up, a mobile feature that helps users quickly review missed conversations. What began as a hackathon prototype evolved into a scalable product through rapid iteration and data-driven decisions.
β Contributed to the PedidosYa rebrand by updating core elements of the design system to improve consistency and scalability across mobile and web.
Despegar rebrand β Designed an illustration system for Despegar's UX team to create a consistent visual language representing travel experiences across the product.
Playground
Experiments, side projects, and things I'm exploring.
Experiment One
A creative coding experiment exploring generative art.
Experiment Two
Interactive prototype exploring new interaction patterns.
Experiment Three
Typography study with variable fonts and animation.
Experiment Four
3D web experiment with CSS transforms.
Mindset
Ideas I carry with me. Words, voices, and reflections that shape the way I build, collaborate, and see the world.
Writing
Articles, case studies, and longer-form pieces.
The biggest changes this year didn't happen on my resume
A year of MBT, Tokyo, remote work across three time zones, and going from 5kg to 45kg at the gym β on betting on yourself before feeling ready.
From tactical to strategic: how AI-first transforms the designer's role
Exploring how an AI-first approach reshapes the Business Model Canvas and moves designers from execution to organizational strategy.
Practice, practice, practice
On storytelling, presenting design work, and how the same advice lands differently depending on where you are in your career.
Consistency
Inspired by Atomic Habits β on why repeating small actions daily matters more than big bursts of motivation, and how priorities shape what actually gets done.
